What this website actually uses

City Economics’ website is a simple informational site. It sets no cookies of its own — no analytics, no advertising, no social-media pixels, and no third-party trackers. The site loads a small animation library from a public content-delivery network to power its visual motion; this is a static file request and sets no cookies. A small number of photographs are likewise loaded from Unsplash’s content delivery network — static file requests that set no cookies.

Our hosting provider may use strictly necessary technical mechanisms to serve the site securely and reliably (for example, load-balancing on its own infrastructure). These are essential to delivering the website, contain no profiling, and are not used to identify you.

If this ever changes

If we ever introduce analytics or any other cookie-setting service, we will update this policy first, explain plainly what is collected and why, and — where the NDPA requires it — ask for your consent before anything is set. Until then, you can browse this site knowing it leaves nothing behind in your browser.
